Something I learned today...
Everyone has beauty they haven’t shared. Everyone has dreams no one’s heard about. Everyone has talents that people don’t notice. Everyone has weaknesses hidden inside. Everyone has a story left untold, so never start judging someone thinking you know them back to front. Because the truth is, you probably don’t.

Seventy times seven..
It has been 7 months since I made a post. I keep thinking about that Scripture that talks about forgiveness and forgiving people not once, or twice, but seventy times seven (Matthew 18:22).. which is 490, the number of perfection. I don't think that means that we should keep tally marks, but forgiveness should be on the tips of our tongues and hearts versus harboring bitterness and rehashing past events and offenses.

Saturday List
Today is my first Saturday this semester to not be at the hospital! I'm so excited about the weather. I got up at 0730 this morning and groomed Elmo, my dog from the humane society. He is so good to groom, but every time I leaned forward to shave him or clip him, he would steal a kiss. I was wearing a v-neck t-shirt and he kept making me laugh and mess up by licking my neck! With dogs, the more you laugh, the more they continue the bad, but funny behavior. I worked around the backyard and washed water and food bowls, filled the bird feeders, and got really dirty!
The rest of the day list...
-Laundry, vacuum & mop
-Go by Banana Republic
-Use free Starbucks coupon
-Start another book
- Go by Leaf & Petal for some flower project stuff
-Walk

Rainy branches
Today was the first day in months I can officially say I do not have to be at work, the hospital, or school. I didn't wake up till 11:45am, and it was the best thing ever! I'm just working around the house, and enjoying this cup of coffee on a rainy day. Half the day is gone already, but that's okay, I'll make the most of what's left.
I have been reading and saying the 23rd Psalm in my head a lot lately. One reason I love it so much is because it was the first verse I ever memorized as a little girl. My mom used to help me memorize it every morning before school, and I still think about it.
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures,
he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul,
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for thou art with me.
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies,
thou anointest my head with oil,
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

"Not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it" -Matthew 10:29
Welcome to my blog. I have never had a blog before, but I am so relieved to find an avenue to express my thoughts and feelings through words, photos, and of course sharing Scripture from God's Word.
